Lifebff Safety Tips

Real connections begin with real safety.

Staying Safe on Lifebff

At Lifebff, we want your experiences — whether you're making new friends, joining group dinners, traveling together, or exploring a shared passion — to be safe, joyful, and respectful. Here are essential tips to protect yourself and others while using Lifebff.

🔐 Protect Your Personal Information

Never share sensitive personal information like your home address, hotel details, or travel schedule with people you don’t know well. For example, don’t say “I’m checking into XYZ Homestay at 4PM.” Avoid revealing:

  • Where you're staying
  • Exact travel plans and times
  • Daily routines or locations you frequently visit

Only share what’s necessary, and only when you feel confident and safe.

💬 Stay on the Lifebff Platform

Keep your conversations on Lifebff — our in-app chats are filtered for safety. People with bad intentions often try to move the conversation to WhatsApp or other apps too quickly. That’s a red flag.

🚩 Report Suspicious or Inappropriate Behavior

If something feels off, report it. We review every report and take action fast. You can also block anyone directly from their profile or chat.

Examples of behavior to report:

  • Invasive questions about your travel or stay
  • Harassment, threats, or unwanted sexual messages
  • Fake profiles or users who seem underage
  • Scams, spam, or sales pitches
  • External links or attempts to redirect you

Your report is always confidential — and you’re helping others too.

🤝 Meeting in Person & Traveling Together

🐢 Don’t Be in a Rush
Get to know the person. A video call can help you feel more confident before meeting.
🌎 Meet in Public, Stay in Public
Choose public places for first meetups — like cafes or parks. Avoid private locations.
📲 Tell a Friend
Share your plans with someone you trust. Let them know who, where, and when.
🚗 Stay in Control of Transportation
Don’t rely on someone you just met for rides. Use your own transport or ride-hailing services.
🧠 Know Your Limits
Stay clear-headed and alert. Be honest with yourself about your comfort and safety.
🏃 If You Feel Uncomfortable, Leave
Trust your instincts — you can leave anytime. Your safety always comes first.
